The most important needs are that of
the client, not necessarily the latest trends
or a personal agenda for design.

My ideals of offering a more sustainable approach to architecture and design just seems like common sense. Being green is now a mainstream design and lifestyle choice chosen by many, which I hope will soon be the only choice. I take my design cues from austerity in Japanese aesthetics, Italian innovation, modernist greats like Gehry, Wright, Sullivan and the Eames but mostly, I take my style cues from the client; combine all that with an environmentally conscious mind and you arrive at where I begin.

Light, furniture, spatial organization and the concept become just as important as comfort. People spend over half of their lives within their dwellings, so by extension, the dwelling, the furniture, the art and decoration, the colors etc should all be desired and loved by the person habituating, working or playing within. These spaces should be viewed as  an event you experience every time they are entered, exited or approached, so they should be treated as such.
